Friendship

Friendship is a close and mutually beneficial relationship between two or more individuals. It is characterized by trust, support, loyalty, and shared interests or experiences. Friends provide emotional support, companionship, and often engage in activities together, fostering a sense of connection and belonging.

True friendship involves mutual respect, understanding, and a willingness to be there for each other through both good times and challenging moments.

The educational purpose of friendship for primary students is to foster social and emotional development, promote positive behavior, enhance communication skills, and cultivate a supportive learning environment.
Friendships provide opportunities for children to practice cooperation, empathy, and conflict resolution. They also offer a sense of belonging, which boosts self-esteem and overall well-being. Through friendships, students learn to respect differences, develop teamwork skills, and expand their perspectives.
Overall, friendships in primary school contribute to a holistic education by promoting social skills and emotional intelligence.
